Devicie’s primary audience is seasoned professionals who began their careers as developers and now, with a deep-seated passion for technology, have advanced in their fields. We created a brand that resonates with this nostalgic but forward-thinking demographic, focusing on practical solutions rather than relying on clichés and buzzwords.
We started with an extensive immersion phase, including staff surveys, to develop the strategic narrative of ‘Enabling Technology Teams.’ This narrative underscored Devicie’s role in keeping technology teams secure, current, and poised for growth.
We centred the visual identity around animated dots, symbolising the platform’s ability to manage devices with precision and control. The simplicity of the dot motif allowed us to explore various forms, from representing coordinated device management to making bold typographic statements and dynamic visual elements.
In addition to this visual motif, we created a custom application that gives Devicie the ability to transform any uploaded image into a branded visual asset. The tool features settings for adjusting colours, inverting images, and modifying dot density and size, making it easy for the client to produce consistent visuals for both digital and print media.
This project highlights the power of designing with a deep understanding of the target audience. For Devicie, we crafted a brand that unapologetically embraces its technical nature, perfectly suited to those who are deeply immersed in the world of technology.
